SATURDAY 6TH OCTOBER

12.45-3.00pm - ITV1 - JURASSIC PARK
Steven Spielberg's blockbuster adventure, starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough. Billionaire tycoon John Hammond has built the ultimate theme park - an island populated by genetically engineered dinosaurs. A group of guests, including Hammond's grandchildren, are invited to preview the attraction, touring the park in remotely controlled cars. But, as a tropical storm gathers, an unscrupulous employee shuts down the elaborate security system, leaving the tour stranded - and mayhem about to break loose.

Epic sci-fi adventure starring Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor. When the evil Trade Federation blockades the peaceful planet of Naboo, Jedi knight Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi are dispatched to mediate in the dispute. But events begin to overtake them and the situation becomes increasingly grave.

Historical epic starring Kirk Douglas, Laurence Olivier and Tony Curtis. Born into slavery, the gladiator Spartacus longs for freedom and soon finds himself at the head of an army of slaves in revolt against the might of the Romans.
11.40-1.00am - ITV1 - BEFORE SUNSET
Romantic drama (a sequel to Before Sunrise), starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Nine years after a brief but intense encounter in Vienna, American Jesse Wallace and Frenchwoman CĂ©line meet again in a Paris bookshop. With only a few hours before Jesse's plane leaves, the pair wonder if there is still a spark between them.

SUNDAY 7TH OCTOBER

3.00-7.20pm - YESTERDAY - LAWRENCE OF ARABIA
Epic adventure starring Peter O'Toole, Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn and Jack Hawkins. During the First World War, the enigmatic Lieutenant Lawrence yearns to escape his desk job in military intelligence and experience some action. His chance arrives when he is appointed British liaison officer to the Arab Revolt against the Turks.
5.35-7.20pm - C4 - ICE AGE 3: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS
Animated comedy adventure featuring the voices of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary. Sid the sloth grows jealous of his mammoth friend Manny's impending fatherhood, and "adopts" three eggs that hatch into baby dinosaurs. The arrival of the mother - a T-rex - opens up a whole new world to Sid and his herd.
7.40-10.00pm - C5 - DUMB AND DUMBER
Comedy starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. When limousine driver Lloyd Christmas gets the sack, he persuades his roommate Harry Dunne to drive him to Aspen in pursuit of an attractive woman passenger who left a briefcase behind. The daft duo embark on a variety of adventures before discovering the briefcase is full of dollar bills.
11.00-12.35am - BBC2 - THE QUIET AMERICAN
Political drama adapted from Graham Greene's classic novel, starring Michael Caine and Brendan Fraser. Against the backdrop of colonial tensions in French Indochina in the 1950s, a complex love triangle is played out between world-weary journalist Thomas Fowler, his Vietnamese mistress and a young American aid worker.
1.10-3.40am - ITV3 - SOPHIES CHOICE
Oscar-winning period drama starring Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline. Stingo, an aspiring novelist from Virginia, arrives in New York in 1947, his boyish ideals still intact. But brutal reality encroaches on his sheltered world when he befriends the beautiful Polish immigrant Sophie and her brilliant Jewish lover Nathan, only to discover that both are hiding dark and devastating secrets.

MONDAY 8TH OCTOBER

5.00-7.05pm - MORE4 - ANASTASIA
Oscar-winning period drama starring Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brynner. Impostor, or Grand Duchess of Russia? A destitute young exile in 1920s Paris claims to be Anastasia, daughter of the last Tsar.
11.00-1.40am - C5 - KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
Epic historical drama starring Orlando Bloom and Eva Green. Near the turn of the 12th century, dignified French noble Godfrey of Ibelin travels to the Holy Land accompanied by his illegitimate blacksmith son Balian. Balian later inherits his father's title and supports Jerusalem's kindly king, but he discovers that the city's fragile peace and atmosphere of religious tolerance are threatened by wayward, unprincipled Templar knights.

TUESDAY 9TH OCTOBER

9.00-11.10pm - ITV2 - SLEEPY HOLLOW
Eerie gothic horror fantasy starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. Unorthodox detective Ichabod Crane is sent to the village of Sleepy Hollow following a series of decapitations. However, his investigation is hampered by the locals' belief that the murders are being committed by the ghost of a headless horseman, and by his growing infatuation with the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel.
11.35 - 1.20am - BBC1 - WONDER BOYS
Comedy drama starring Michael Douglas, Tobey Maguire and Frances McDormand. Middle-aged college professor Grady Tripp has a lot on his mind - his wife has just left him, his lover is pregnant and he's struggling to complete his long overdue second novel. His life is further complicated by the arrival at a faculty party of James, a troubled but talented student who happens to be carrying a gun.

WEDNESDAY 10TH OCTOBER

11.25-1.30pm - MORE4 - HEAVEN KNOWS, MR ALLISON
Second World War drama starring Deborah Kerr and Robert Mitchum. Sister Angela, a Catholic nun, and US marine Allison find themselves stranded together on a South Pacific island occupied by the Japanese.
7.50-10.00pm - 5* - GHOST BUSTERS
Supernatural comedy starring Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver and Dan Aykroyd. Three university professors researching parapsychology set up in business for themselves when their grant is withdrawn, and soon realise there's a burgeoning market for "ghost busters" in New York City.
11.50-1.15am - BBC2 - TABLOID: SEX IN CHAINS
Premiere. Errol Morris' documentary about former US beauty queen Joyce McKinney, who hit the headlines in 1977 for a strange kidnapping case. When her Mormon boyfriend was sent to England to act as a missionary, she abducted him and kept him chained up in a remote cabin, where she tried to seduce him into giving up his religion. Featuring interviews with McKinney and the journalists who covered the story. 

THURSDAY 11TH OCTOBER

9.00-10.25pm - BBC4 - MAN ON WIRE
Drama documentary that details the preparation for and execution of one of the most daring stunts of all time. On August 7 1974 Frenchman Philippe Petit took a tightrope walk between the Twin Towers of New York's World Trade Center, incurring the wrath of the authorities. His outrageous feat was dubbed by some "the artistic crime of the century".

FRIDAY 12TH OCTOBER

11.15-1.10am - ITV4 - THE JERK
Comedy starring Steve Martin. Navin Johnson, the white sheep in a poor black family of Mississippi sharecroppers, leaves home to seek his fortune in the big city. Navin's struggle for fame, his invention of the miraculous opti-grab device and the earth-shattering discovery of his "special purpose" are just a small part of the Johnson legend.
